El Elyon He is your Sovereign

It has been a while since writing here... I am already 35 and I remember starting this blog at the tender age of 21, how life changed since then and how God worked in different ways in my life , currently my little boy is 3 years old and I guess he is not so little anymore, but we have been through some challenging situations these past few months where we have been challenged to the uttermost and still being tested in all areas in our lives. When I speak of ‘us’ I am specifically speaking about my husband and I, I think Elion is totally oblivious about everything but that’s good and some days I wonder where is the Lord... is He listening and everything just bottles up in me and then the calm voice in my spirit says to me: remember my names and who I am… actually Lord I don’t want to speak to you and look at your names because you feel so far… but what else is there for me? So I go and look and here it is:

God is Elohim—He is your Creator

God is Elohim Chayim—He is the Living God. 

God is Abba—He is your Father.

God is Jehovah-jireh—the Lord will provide

God is Jehovah-shalom—the Lord is Peace

God is El Elyon—He is your Sovereign

God is Jehovah Ro’i—He is your Shepherd

And my heart is still….
